Multi-purpose booking system (2018)
IKKY was a startup building a cross-platform booking tool for services like restaurants, salons, events, and medical appointments in Hong Kong and Taiwan. I continued the previous UX work, redesigned the Merchant Management Portal (MMP) and CMS, and provided UX guidance.

Competitor analysis
Conduct competitor analysis to understand market standards, feature gaps, and positioning. This helped me quickly align with the company’s current progress and define a more informed product and design strategy.
User research & information architecture
User research (qualitative) was conducted to understand how, when, and why users interact with the product, informing feature definition and prioritization for future releases. This included developing personas, mapping user journeys and page flows, and conducting client interviews to uncover key pain points and requirements.

User testing & iteration
In the final stage, usability testing was conducted and analytics reviews to evaluate product performance and identify areas of improvement. Usability tests were designed around key tasks, with sessions recorded (screen, audio, and interactions) to capture user behavior and uncover friction points.
I also analyzed site data to assess feature performance, identify underperforming areas, and understand user behavior across devices and segments. These insights informed prioritization and guided iterative improvements to enhance the overall user experience.
